Netflix: 'The Tinder Swindler' is one wild ride

The Tinder Swindler: Who is Shimon Hayut and what happened to them?

Netflix's new crime documentary 'The Tinder Swindler' takes a detour that will leave you wondering just how attractive this 'billionaire playboy' is.

"Tinder Scam" follows three women who all fall into the popular dating app and match up with "Simon Leviev", who seems like the man of their dreams but eventually turns into a nightmare.

As with the trending stuff to watch these days, I had no plans to watch this crime documentary, but when my Twitter timeline was filled with so many people saying they were going crazy about it, I decided to see what the hype was all about.

And I must say, this is two hours of viewing from the edge of your seat. I sat watching and wondered how our first victim, Cecilie Fjellhøy, hadn't seen a red flag, and I started to believe in indoda (a man) more than himself, without questioning anything at the beginning.

Look, I wouldn't say no if the so-called heir to a billionaire empire took me on a private jet for a second date and lived lavishly. However, the moment he starts asking me to send him money or take out a credit card because he's in trouble, I pull the limit.

How do we eat at 5-star restaurants where one day the staff know you by name and the next day there are people out to get you and you don't have the cash flow to sort it out?

And you are waiting for someone who is an ordinary, rude person to save you. No, ma'am. In the words of "Bling Empire"'s Anna Shay, "there's no d*** that good."

It's fascinating to see how Simon weaves a web of swindling lies and deception, trapping so many women, and no one notices it until it's finally revealed.

And the way this documentary is presented seems like it was shot in real time, which only adds to the curiosity and curiosity of the movie.

“The Tinder Scam” is an interesting documentary that will make you think twice after you swipe right on someone claiming to be rich, because you might be the one funding their lavish lifestyle.
