President William Ruto has allegedly urged some members of the Kenya Kwanza coalition to resign from their current positions as he prepares to organize his government following his inauguration as the country's fifth leader.
According to The Star, three members of Parliament have reportedly been told to resign.
The three political figures are anticipated to be named as ministers in the new administration.
The regions that the three political leaders represented will be compelled to hold a by election in order to elect new representatives after the resignation of the three political leaders.
The three political figures are Senator Kipchumba Murkomen of Elgeyo Marakwet, Member of Parliament for Garissa Township Aden Nduale, and Member of Parliament for Kandara Alice Wahome.
